Proptino is a UK property marketplace. People search for homes to buy or rent, and estate agents, landlords and private sellers advertise them. Searching is free, a standard advert is free for 30 days, and you deal with the advertiser directly.
Proptino isn't an estate agent. It doesn't own the properties, arrange viewings or take part in the sale or tenancy. It's where buyers, tenants and advertisers find each other.

If You're Looking for a Property
- Search. Choose to buy or rent, then enter a location.
- Filter. Narrow results by property type, price, bedrooms and features such as parking or a garden.
- Shortlist. Save properties to your wishlist so you can compare them later.
- Contact the advertiser. Use the contact options on the listing. You speak to the agent, landlord or seller directly.
- View and check. Arrange a viewing with the advertiser and go in prepared. Our guide to the questions to ask when viewing a property covers what to check.
Proptino doesn't handle viewings, offers, deposits or rent payments. Those are agreed between you and the advertiser.
If You're Advertising a Property
Homeowners selling privately, private landlords and people letting a room can create their own advert for a property for sale or to rent. A standard advert is free for 30 days, and enquiries come straight to you.

Who Lists Properties on Proptino
Every listing is created by its advertiser: an estate agent, a letting agent, a landlord or a private seller. The advertiser's name is shown on the listing, so you know who you'll be dealing with. Advertisers are responsible for keeping their details accurate and removing a property once it's sold or let.
Most listings are in the UK, and Proptino also shows properties in other countries.
Staying Safe
- View a property, in person or by a live video call with the advertiser, before paying anything
- Never send a deposit or holding fee by bank transfer to someone you haven't met or checked
- Be wary of prices far below similar homes in the area
- Check that agents belong to a redress scheme, such as The Property Ombudsman or the Property Redress Scheme
